Spanish for kids aged 7 to 9

Stories with Lucía, Teo and Ola, native voices and short sessions made for their age. Your child listens, discovers and starts saying their first sentences in Spanish.

No card, no commitment · Age is a guide, not a rule: choose the course by level.

Who it’s for

Children aged 7 to 9 who are starting Spanish from scratch. The instructions can be heard in their own language, so they don’t need to read fluently yet.

Prior knowledge

Nothing: the course starts from scratch.

By the end, your child will be able to

  • Greet people, introduce themselves and say how they are.
  • Count to twenty and say how old they are.
  • Name colours and the things they play with.
  • Introduce their family.
  • Talk about their school, their home, pets and animals.
  • Name the parts of the body and the face.

How it works

  • Grammar without explanations: they learn whole sentences in real situations, such as “¿Cómo te llamas?” or “Tengo ocho años”, and discover the difference between forms by choosing the one that fits.
  • Every session moves through four stages: discover, practise, use and a final challenge.
  • Everything can be heard: every word and every sentence has its audio, and the instructions can be heard in their own language.
  • Stories with Lucía, Teo and Ola — a Polish girl who is learning Spanish just like your child — and Rufo the dog.
  • Whatever is hard comes back until it sticks.
The method

The metro line: one stop, one thing

Each unit is a run of short stops. These are the ones in the first unit, with their real exercises — and here you can do them and hear them.

Unit 1 · Greetings and introductions14 stops

And there is more: the guide, two stories with Ola and Teo, listening, odd one out, an episode of Radio Léxico and a recording. Fourteen stops in the first unit.

New words

Cards with audio

A few words at a time, each with its picture and its audio. Whatever is hard comes back on its own, at the right moment.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need to know any Spanish?

No. The course starts from scratch: every new word comes with its picture and its audio, and whatever is hard comes back until it sticks.

What if they can’t read well yet?

That’s not a problem: the instructions can be heard in their own language, and everything they learn has audio.

What data do you ask for about my child?

A username and a password that you choose. No email, no phone number and no surname: you create your child’s account from your own.

What if they’re older than 9?

Age is a guide, not a rule: if they are starting from scratch, this course works just as well. If they already know some Spanish, write to us and we’ll help you choose.
